Chantal Risseeuw-Boer joins Bamboo Brands
Today, we welcome Chantal Risseuw-Boer to our team as our new Client Development Consultant. We look forward to helping many more FMCG companies innovate successfully together with Chantal.
Chantal feels at home in the world of FMCG. She has experience working for several FMCG producers such as Perrigo, Henkel and FrieslandCampina in roles in Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales. Afterwards, she realized many collaborations and placements within the FMCG industry while working for the executive search company People Select.
Chantal is once again looking forward to making a difference in this industry. Her ambitions, knowledge and experience make her a worthy addition to our team.

What spoke to you about Bamboo Brands?
Chantal: ‘’I know the FMCG industry well and from several perspectives, such as that of a Marketeer. One of the main focuses in this industry is innovation. 80% of innovations disappearing from shelves after a year is not sustainable and this number can be improved substantially. It speaks to me that Bamboo Brands can make a difference in reducing this number for the largest brands, by identifying early which innovations actually matter and lead to brand growth. I will gladly use my knowledge and energy to reach this goal, while working in the industry that has my heart. Together with Bamboo Brands’ driven team, we will work for several clients to innovate faster, better and more sustainable.
What does your role entail and why does this role fit you so well?
In my role as Client Development Consultant, I look for what it is my clients really need. What does a marketeer need to do differently in the future to realize sustainable brand growth through innovation? I will help the largest brands reduce uncertainties and risks surrounding innovations by discussing their needs. Together with the internal team, I will develop a tailor-made plan to adress these needs. This suits me well, because the needs of the client are paramount, and I enjoy finding out what the client really needs.
What are your expectations for the future?
Chantal: ‘’I hope to make an impact by helping many FMCG producers improve their innovation process and promote sustainable innovation while doing so.’’
